Refunds, deposits, and missed chairs

Eligibility

Refunds apply to training fees and deposits paid for a confirmed seat on the intensive, a private chart-desk hour, an evening class run, or live session observation. They do not apply to your own travel, lodging, or brokerage costs.

Timeframe and amounts

Cancel in writing to hello@softcanvascore.digital more than seven full days before the training date and we refund 100 percent of sums paid for that booking. Cancel between seven days and 48 hours before the start time and we refund 50 percent. Cancel inside 48 hours, or fail to attend, and the fee is kept. Evening-run bundles are treated as one booking; missing one evening of four is not a 25 percent refund.

Work already started

Once an intensive or observation morning has begun, the seat is used. Printed packs handed to you that morning are yours to keep and are not returned for credit. Private hours that have started are charged in full even if you leave early.

Materials

We do not sell separate kits. If we have already printed a class pack for you and you cancel inside 48 hours, that printing is part of the retained fee. We will still hand you the pack if you collect it on Chan Road within ten days; we will not post it.

Rescheduling

You may move a private hour once, if you write at least 48 hours ahead and another chair exists. Intensives and observation mornings can be moved only if another published date has a free seat; the original deposit stays attached to the new date. A second move is treated as a cancellation under the timetable above.

No-shows

Live observation doors close at 09:20. Arriving after that is a no-show; we will not open the stair during the first hour. Intensives will try to seat a late arrival after 10:30 only if it does not interrupt mark-up, with no fee reduction.

Our cancellations

If we cancel a date because an instructor is ill or the room cannot open, you receive a full refund or a move to a new date at your choice. If an evening run does not reach four seats, we cancel that run and refund sums paid for it.

How refunds are paid

Write to hello@softcanvascore.digital with the booking date and the account you used to pay. Refunds go back by bank transfer to the same account, usually within ten working days after we accept the request. We do not refund in cash at the stair.

Deposits

The 30 percent deposit is part of the fee, not an extra product. It follows the same cancellation timetable. It is not transferable to another person unless we agree in writing before the original date.
