09:00–10:30
Overnight mark-up
Sheets from the previous session go on the table. Unused highs and lows are drawn first. Round numbers go in the gutter. Students who arrive with twelve lines are asked to defend three.
The classroom
The intensive is easier to judge once you can picture the room. This is the Chan Road classroom: where people sit, when talking stops, and what a training day actually looks like from 09:00 to 16:30.
Soft Canvas Core sits at 309/3 Chan Rd., Wat Phra Ya Krai, Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok, 10120, Thailand. The entrance is a narrow stair beside a shuttered shophouse. The classroom is one floor up: one long table, eight chairs that do not swivel, a wall we tape printed charts to, and windows that look toward Chan Road rather than toward a dealing floor.
There is no reception desk. If the stair gate is closed, telephone +66 022129250 from the pavement. Arrive ten minutes early on intensive days; live observation has a harder 09:20 cut-off so the open is not interrupted.
Pencil, eraser, notebook. A short ruler if you like a true horizontal. Overnight charts of your own names if you already print them; we still issue a class pack. A laptop is optional and stays closed during the first hour of live observation.
Lunch is in the room on intensive days so the afternoon retest clinic is not lost to a long outing. Evening classes do not include a meal. Dress for a warm room, not for a bank.
Intensive timetable
09:00–10:30
Sheets from the previous session go on the table. Unused highs and lows are drawn first. Round numbers go in the gutter. Students who arrive with twelve lines are asked to defend three.
10:30–12:00
The wall chart stays as it was before the cash open. Commentary is limited. The work is to write which pre-marked support and resistance were visited, spent, or ignored.
12:00–13:00
Food stays in the room. Informal questions are fine. New lines on the wall wait until the afternoon clinic.
13:00–16:30
The same sheets return. Each leftover level is labelled unused, held, or failed to reclaim. Arun writes a short note on your page before you leave. The class ends on time even if a quiet name never came back.
Eight seats on the intensive. Six for live observation. Evening groups start at four and stop at six. We do not add a ninth chair because a friend arrived with you.
Photography of other students’ sheets is not allowed. Recording the open is not allowed. You may photograph your own page at the end of the day.
If this room sounds like the right kind of slow, request a place on the intensive or ask which evening run is filling.
